Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather jr have a new opponent in Tim Bradley

He is still a nobody in the top boxing world but Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather jr have a new opponent in Tim Bradley

There is a new challenge to Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Though he is still being taken as nobody but he aspires to fight the two fighters some day in the near future.

Tim Bradley is an emerging fighter and his powerful punches are already talk of the boxing world.

In his weight class 140 pound, he is among the most promising boxers and is yet to find a boxer who could beat him. Now this frail looking boxer is looking towards meeting the top two fighters some day in the boxing ring.

In a recent interview he talked everything from his being the top boxer in the world to the one who could beat Manny and Mayeather saying that after some time the world would demand that Manny Pacquiao face him.

In a freewheeling interview he said, “And if Manny Pacquiao's still going to still be in the game, then, it's going to be inevitable that he will have to fight me. Trust me. The fight fans, the media, everyone will be calling for the fight.”

Notwithstanding the big mouthed talk of Tim Bradley, he is still talking of probabilities. It is like Amir Khan taking on Mayweather Jr and Manny pacquiao.

they faced the main event of UFC 118 on Saturday night at TD Garden in Boston, Mass. Randy Couture defeated James Toney via triangle choke submission at Arm the 3 minutes mark the first inning. It was really a good fight but he must stop short Randy Couture has shown he does not want the fight to go to space. The challenger James Toney never had a chance against UFC legend that, at 47 years may not even be on top of his game. The end came so early in the first round was just as expected by experts and fans of wrestling. Cycle 1, they are slowly but Randy Couture gets disassembly in less than 10 seconds and moves in full assembly immediately. Randy Couture is bragging and drop shots. Now he moves James Toney against the cage, landing shots the whole way. Randy Couture is looking for the triangle arms. James Toney little hooked. Randy Couture goes to the triangle arms again, James Toney asleep. This may well be the first and last PDUs James Toney and mixed martial arts combat as it was proved that its fighting a dimension is not sufficient to do so anywhere in this sport. But James Toney should also get praise for the efforts of the crossing of boxing for MMA. It is simply not good enough to do well in MMA and his age, must choose to retire if there is no alternative freak show for him in the future. Randy Couture said: "I am a big fan of boxing, much credit to James Toney." who has argued 11 title belts in five weight classes as a boxer, praised Randy Couture post fight interview difficult to hear in the crowd booed. It is certain and official, the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will be there and is scheduled for March 13, 2010.
According to ESPN.com one of the most hyped fights will be happening and it could be the most important one in the entire history of boxing; the fight that most boxing fans wanted to see.
For such a long time boxing depended so much on the heavyweight category, and there hasn’t been a good draw in the heavyweight division when it came to boxing.
Now what is touted as the blockbuster fight between Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather was making news and its finally been happening.

Pacquiao could be taking place at the Cowboy Stadium For Fighting on 13 November

By Eric Thomas: According to the latest boxing news, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is interested in putting the Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito Top Rank clash at the Cowboy Stadium, in Arlington, Texas. Pacquiao and Margarito will be fighting for the vacant World Boxing Council junior middleweight title, despite the fact that Pacquiao has never fought at that weight before and Margarito has fought only twice in that division in the past six years and only recently fought a fringe contender at that weight.

Whatever the case, Margarito is ranked number #1 by the WBC and will be fighting the biggest money fight of his 16-year pro career. Margarito has fought only once in the past year after losing his boxing license due to a plaster like substance being found on his hand wraps before his fight against Shane Mosley last year.

Still without a boxing license to fight in the United States, Margarito has already been denied a license by the Nevada Athletic Commission. Margarito’s promoter Bob Arum is going to attempt to get his license back from the California Athletic Commission later on this month, the ones that took Margarito’s license away in the first place.

It’ll be interesting to see if Arum is able to get Margarito’s boxing license back from the Texas Athletic Commission if the California Commission rejects Margarito’s application. If not, then Arum and Margarito will have to try other states, such as New Jersey.
Pacquiao has already fought in the Cowboy stadium last March, beating former IBF welterweight champion Joshua Clottey by a one-sided 12 round unanimous decision in a fight that lacked drama and was pretty much a dull fight from start to finish.

However, incredibly 50,000 fans showed up to see the bout, which figured to be a one-sided fight even before it took place. The fight sold 700,000 pay per view buys; not bad for a fight against an opponent [Clottey] that doesn’t have much of a fan base in the United States.

The Margarito-Pacquiao bout could bring in similar numbers, as Margarito isn’t a very popular fighter either in the U.S. and most boxing fans seem to see this as a huge mismatch. Fans wanted to see Pacquiao fight someone else, preferably Floyd Mayweather Jr. Unfortunately; the fans will have to wait on that fight happening for at least until next year, if not longer. It will depend on a number of things. The percentage split of the revenue and the random blood testing that Mayweather wants.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather | Who Has the Best Chance of Winning OF this Fighting ?

By Troy Sparks
According to Bookmakers inc., the fight of next year, pending negotiations, between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, is too close to call.
The Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Juan Diaz first fight last year was named by some boxing observers as the fight of the year.
Next year's fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao will easily top that.
Keep your emotions in check.  I'm confident that the deal will get done.
Fans of either fighter will be on one side or the other.
Unfortunately, even though I'm a huge Mayweather supporter, I have a higher calling as a featured columnist to be as neutral as possible and try to keep my own emotions in check.
Wait, I am pro-Mayweather.
Bookmakers inc. think that Mayweather won't settle for a split purse.
I can go along with that.
Since Floyd's undefeated and free to negotiate his own deals, he should set the conditions of his fight against Pacquiao.
Once we know that he's on board with Don King, Mayweather may likely hand over negotiating control to King.

We know that Mayweather can demand over 50 percent of the purse.
His earlier demands required the split at 60-40 in his favor.
Think about how much in gate receipts alone that would be if you paid about $500 to watch the fight in 110,000 seat Cowboys Stadium, not counting the TV and pay-per-view revenue.
Bookmakers inc. preliminary figures for a person paying $500 for a ticket with a full capacity adds up to $55 million.
King will take that kind of money and so will HBO.
Don doesn't care if it's dirty or clean, because to him, it's all good money.
Bookmakers inc. also believed that the deal would've been done already if Pacquiao agreed to the blood testing.
There was a good reason for Mayweather to demand a test for Shane Mosley, especially after he admitted in court that he used drugs.
Pacquiao had a right to sue Mayweather for defamation of character for being accused of using drugs.
I don't think a drug test will weaken Pacquiao.
Either he has the skills to battle, or he doesn't.
Remember sometime last year when Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, said his man will knock Mayweather out?
I wonder what he's saying now.
If Pacquiao would've agreed to the testing, we would look forward to the real fight of the year this November.
That stubborn Pacquiao wouldn't have it any other way.
That stubborn Mayweather is holding back.
I think the odds of the fight taking place are 2:1.
There's a 10:1 chance that Mayweather will retire the current pound-for-pound champ.
Yeah, I said it.  What do you think the odds of the fight occurring and who will win?

Pacquiao vs Mayweather Live Next Fight in May 2011?

MANILA, Philippines – The face-off between boxing megastars Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. will most likely not happen in 2010 but possibly next year.
This was mentioned by Pacquiao’s promoter, Top Rank, Inc. CEO Bob Arum, in an interview with BoxingScene.com.
“It’s too late for the fall. So Pacquiao-Mayweather would be something in the spring,” Arum told Lem Satterfield. “Floyd has not signed officially with [promoter Don] King, but when he does, I'm sure that Don will talk to me and we’ll work it out.”
Mayweather is rumored to be joining the stable of fighters under Don King Productions. The undefeated American fighter was slated to face Pacquiao on November 13 but negotiations fell apart.
“My recommendation is that we do the fight in May, in which case, if Pacquiao is successful in November, that will give us six months to promote the fight,” added Arum, who currently ironing out the details of Pacquiao’s bout against Mexican Antonio Margarito on November 13.
Arum disclosed that he is set to meet with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila).
Pacquiao’s promoter said he is considering the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas as the venue for the Margarito clash. He added that the fight will not be staged in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
“Jerry Jones, I consider a friend. I think that we’re going to make a deal. Jerry Jones knows that North Texas has a huge Hispanic population, and, particularly, a large Mexican American population,” stated Arum.
Pacquiao fought for the first time at the Cowboys Stadium last March 13 against Joshua Clottey of Ghana. He beat the Ghanaian by unanimous decision.
Arum even predicted that the Pacquiao-Margarito fight will be a “tremendous draw.”
“Pacquiao was already a tremendous draw. So if the fight happens in the Dallas Cowboys’ Stadium, the attendance will exceed the previous fight with Joshua Clottey, who really had no following in North Texas,” he added.
Margarito and Pacquiao will dispute the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) junior middleweight title. -- With a report from BoxingScene.com
